Finally, I'm back

Back on my feet that is. I have not been feeling very well over the holidays, so I hope the New Year is going to start a little bit better. As a result of this I have not published my designteam card for Dutch Dare untill today. The last challenge of this year is a sketch and this is what I made of it:

I coloured these cute doggies with copic markers, partly a present I got for my birthday last november.

scalloped edge

This is the new challenge for http://dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/. It's a bit diffucult to see, but the musicpaper on my card has a scalloped edge. I will try to put up a better picture tomorrow, if I have better lighting.

At http://dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/ the challenge this week is to use 3 flowers on your card. I'm way behind with my christmas cards so I made one for this occasion. I'm sorry I'm not being around more often, but last week and next week are the two most busy weeks for me. By the end of this week my daughter is turning 5 and that calls for celebration of course and this year it's taking me a lot of preparation. You would like to know seven truths about me.

Wel let's see:

- I love Great Britain! I don't come there as often as I would like, but I like the country and the traditions.

- I hate unjustice being done to people who can't defend themselves. Any unjustice is evil, but if people don't know how to handle it, I hate it.

- I love my little girl, Quinty, almost five years old and really having a mind of here own. But so very cute.

- I have been making cards for many years now, all kind of techniques I've tried, but stamping and lately making scrapcards is my great passion.

- I hate to clean our kitchen, I don't mind ironing, and I like to do our weekly shopping.

- Only 3 days until it's my birthday! I'm turning 38 (pff getting old) LOL

- I'm having a bit of trouble with my health at the moment, my physician thinks I'm having reumatism (don't know exactly how to put this in English), and so he send me to the hospital to gat checked out. Don't have any results as of yet. I'll keep you all posted.

First DT-challenge dutch dare

I've made a start with making my daughter's birthday treats for her school. I've made a pillow box, decorated that with a ribbon and on top of that a monkey from CC-designs on a circle cut with my round scalloped nestabilities.

Christmas card

Made this card last night when my friend Irene was here. I still have to get used to not using a stamped image or 3d picture on my card. But I still like this one.

Deze kaart heb ik gisteravond gemaakt toen mijn goede vriendin Irene hier was. Ik moet nog steeds wennen aan het niet gebruiken van een stempelafbeelding of 3d plaatje op mijn kaarten. Maar ik vind deze wel aardig geworden.

Ben goed op dreef vanavond, hier is er nog een. Deze is gemaakt met een stempel van Marianne Design, erg leuke stempeltjes, twee voor kerst en vier baby afbeeldingen, heel lief.

Dit is de sneeuwpop met pinguin.

I'm on a roll tonight, here is another one. This one is made with a Marianne Design stamp, really cute stamps, she has a range with two X-mas stamps and four baby stamps, really sweet.

This is the snowman with pinguin.

kerstkaartje

Vandaag de nieuwe cardkit van simpelscrappen gekregen en gisteren die van Doe a ding, de doe a kit. In deze zat dit ontzettend leuke kerstpapier van My Mind's Eye. Ik hou van deze kleuren, vind de combi met het roze helemaal top.





Today I received my new cardkit from simpelscrappen and yesterday I got the one from Doe a ding. This last one had this wonderful paper in it, Be merry from My Mind's Eye.
I like these colours, especialy the combination with pink!

Today a new challenge blog has been realized, http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/. The first challenge is to use brads on your card. I have not yet have that many high hopes stamps, but I think this will change in the near future! Really love them.

Old and New

This card is made with a paperline from last year, from ccpapers. The stamp used is one of my latest stamps from Whipper Snapper, really cute this one.

mijn eerste kerstkaartje dit jaar. Het is geen kerstpapier maar het motiefje en de kleuren vond ik toch wel passend.

My first X-mas card this year. It's not really x-mas paper, but the motive and colours are suitable I think.

Het idee van dit notitieblokje is niet nieuw, maar ik vond het een prima kadootje voor de juf van mijn dochter aan het einde van dit eerste schooljaar. Papier is van October afternoon. Ik heb mijn inspiratie gekregen van het blog van Inge, zij maakt fantastische dingen!

pay it forward

Ik heb gereageerd op de site van Janny op haar pay it forward. Ik was de eerste, en dus de gelukkige ontvanger van dit pakketje.

Nu is het mijn beurt. De eerste die een commentaar bij dit bericht achterlaat krijgt van mij ook een leuk pakketje toegestuurd met een aantal stempelafdrukjes (bella's of magnolia's) en wat scrapspulletjes. De enige voorwaarde hieraan is dat je vervolgens op je eigen blog dit voortzet en dus ook weer een pakketje aanbied.

Deze kaart gemaakt met de Card kit van Card art elke maand weer zo leuk om zo'n envelop in de bus te krijgen. Deze was echt voor het voorjaar, met lieve pastelkleurtjes, helemaal mijn ding!

Deze kaart gemaakt voor een jarige, en ook ingestuurd naar de Creatie, zij vragen een designteam om voor hen stempelvoorbeelden voor de winkel te maken, en met o.a. deze kaart wil ik daar een gooi naar doen.

Weer twee kaartjes, de PB zijn van een van de nieuwe clearsheetjes.

De Magnolia is met de papierlijn van Paper Salon, de egeltjes zijn gemaakt met de nieuwe Basic Grey, two scoops.

Paperbag kaart Magnolia

Voor deze paperbag ben ik geïnspireerd door Jacqueline http://crejakaarten.blogspot.com/ Zij liet vorige week een prachtige paperbag kaart zien, en dit heb ik ook eens geprobeerd. Deze is gemaakt voor een lieve tante van mij die dit weekend jarig was. Papier gebruikt van K&Company, specialty paper Smitten en twee Magnolia stempels.
