Sorry that it took me so long to make a new post. I have been having troubles with my hands, had to visit the specialist again to get the diagnosis Artrosis (hope I spell that right). She changed my medication and so I hope I will be able to do a bit more. Now over to the next thing:

The Sugar Bowl: #21 Tiets sketch

It has been a while since I joined in at the Sugar Bowl. This fortnight they have a great sketch bij Tiets, and as I always love her sketches AND had the time, I decided to join.

The "please include" is Christmas or Winter.

As I don't have that many Sugar Nellie stamps, I figured this lovely animal could do for a christmas present delivery boy.

Today at Dutch Dare we have a card recipe for you.

you can add whatever you find you need, but these things are compulsory. This Halloween card is my example:

Copic Creations and Simon Says Stamp

Again a card suitable for two challenges. First of all, Copic Creations would like to see the colours red or pink. Well I think this snowmans dress is pretty red. Colours I've used are R29, R37 and R59 for the jacket and hat, B95 and B97 for the present and a little B00 to accent the snowman.

Secondly at Simon Says Stamp challengeblog they are asking for Christmas in August.

I think that pretty much worked too.

Good day everyone!

Yesterday we had quite hot weather overhere in the Netherlands and last night we had a thunderstorm to cool us down a bit. That was when I finished this card. It fits two challenges:

Finally! Dutch Dare and Penny Black

Ow my gosh, it took me so long to get the time to finish my Dutch Dare card ready.

I work for two different bosses and from my work at the hospital I have my holiday at the moment, but the other one, (I do typing work from my home), I only have next week off, because they are so crazy busy at the moment (and so am I consequently).

But it's finally ready, this card, and I saw that it meets the challenge at Penny Black as well.

So I hope you all like this card, it took me quite some time to get it finished.

Dutch Dare: Hooray, 1st Birthday!

Hip hip Hooray, we're celebrating our first birthday!


And we're going to celebrate! How are we going to do that?


First of all, this weeks challenge is not to make a celebrationcard, but to make a card for a good cause. We got an email a couple of weeks ago from a lovely lady, Charlotte Chapman who is a volunteer for Post pals, an English foundation who send postcards, letters and even presents to very ill children in the UK. She asked us if we would consider doing a challenge were people not just scan in their card actualy make one and send it off to a Post Pal Child.

A really wonderful chance to bring some hapiness in de lives of very seriously ill children.
